Miani Awana Cricket Club won an Annual “UGOOD Cricket League-UCL” 2008-2009 Final on 22nd March 2009.

The final of the UGOOD Cricket League (UCL) was held on 22nd March 2009 in Boys High School Ground Gondal, Sialkot between Miani Awanan Cricket Club and Putliyaan Chakk Cricket Club. UCL is organized by UGOOD Sports Wing on yearly basis and all the leading teams of Sialkot participate in the tournament.

This year a total of 25 teams participated in the UCL of which Miani Awanan Cricket Club and Putlian Chakk Cricket Club successfully qualified for the finals. Mr. Malik Riaz , CEO of Malik Sports (Pvt) Ltd and Chief Pattern of UGOOD was the Chief Guest of the finals, Mr. Syed Ishtiaq Ul Hassan Gilani, CEO of UGOOD, MPA Rana Muhammad Iqbal and local Nazim Ghulam Rasool also attended the final as the Guests of Honor. Mr. Malik Riaz distributed the awards to the winning team, runner up team, Man of the Match, Man of the Series, Best Bowler, Best Batsman and Best fielder of the tournament.

Speaking to the crowed, Syed Ishtiaq Ul Hassan Gilani said that the sports activities for youngsters are not only a source of entertainment but also create discipline, team spirits and positive energy amongst the youth. Chief Gust Malik Riaz also addressed the audience and encouraged UGOOD for organizing such events.
