1. UGOOD Awareness Campaigns for HIV/Aids, TB and Malaria by UGOOD Volunteer Doctors and UGOOD Free Dispensaries on 25th October 2008.
UGOOD Health Program has launched a campaign to raise awareness regarding the HIV Aids though UGOOD Volunteer Doctors in the HIV Aids prone areas of District Rawalpindi, District Sialkot and District Bagh of AJk.
Under this campaign the poor and deserving patients visiting UGOOD Free Dispensaries and UGOOD Free Medical Camps are provided with material about the causes of HIV Aids and preventive measures. Further, the free HIV /Aids tests are also performed on the willing patients.
The patients who are detected as HIV /Aids positive are referred for treatment to the nearest hospital by UGOOD.
HIV Aids Stigma:- UGOOD realize the problem arising due to HIV Aids stigma and has designed a specific awareness campaign against this.
