FUNDRAISING FOR THE RELIEF & REHABILITATION OF EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS OF CHINA.

UGOOD expresses our deep distress on the dreadful earthquake hitting China on May 12, 2008. The devastating earthquake caused thousands of deaths, injuries and immense losses to the properties and infrastructure.

UGOOD is a registered non profit organization working in the areas of Education, Health, Poverty Alleviation, Environment, Natural Resource Management etc with a motive to bring a positive change in the lives of the unprivileged segments of society in general and especially for the people affected by human and natural disasters.

UGOOD intends to organize an event titled “United We Stand”, in the last week of June in collaboration with the Embassy of People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the event is to express the concern and affections of Pakistani nation for Chinese People and to strengthen the bond of friendship between the nations. An occasion like this will represent a hallmark of bilateral ties. The proceeds of this event shall be presented to the His Excellency the Chinese Ambassador as a contribution for the earthquake victims.

Event Purpose

• Offer support to our neighboring country(China) who have supported Pakistan over the years, especially during  the 2005 Earthquake
• Strengthening the bond of Pak-China Relationships
• Create a sense of togetherness and fulfill our humanitarian duties
• Reinforce the message of peace & unity within Asia and across the Globe
• Encouragement for organizations within all sectors to integrate and fulfill their Corporate Social Responsibility.
• Heads of Top key organizations to show their support & render aid donations (funds/in kind)

The main purpose of this event will be to raise funds & provide aid to the thousands of victims affected by the devastation caused after the China Earthquake!

United We Stand
Pakistan has an enduring, multi-dimensional and deep-rooted relationship with China. The long-standing ties of friendship between the two Countries are underpinned by mutual trust and confidence. An occasion like this will represent a hallmark of bilateral ties.

Event will include tribute concert with all major musicians, both National as well as International. Songs performed will compliment the theme of the event. Dance performances will be carried out by both Chinese as well as Pakistani performers. Various activities at the event, prize draw, and auction of celebrity signed memorabilia, etc, with all funds donated to our cause.
