UGOOD with group of volunteers’ doctors and community health experts is conducting various health related programs and surveys throughout the country and Kashmir. Details of the program as it follow:

1.1 UGOOD Mobile Health Unit (UGOOD-MHU)
UGOOD have created five Mobile Health Units consisting of male/female doctors, paramedical staff and necessary medical equipment. UGOOD network identifies the medical needs of different areas and these Mobile Health Units are then placed in the most deserving areas. Top priority is given to those areas that are subject to the danger of some epidemical/communities diseases such as diarrhea, malaria, chicken pox, influenza, goiter and female specific diseases etc..

1.2 Awareness Campaigns against maniac disease HIV/AIDS, Malaria, TB
Based on the survey UGOOD community health teams target the most vulnerable areas/communities to create awareness regarding TB, Hepatitis and sexually transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS. The awareness against HIV/AIDS is created among the high risk group such as follows:
I- Men Having Sex with Men. (MSM/Hijrah)
II- Female Sex Workers. (FSWs)
III. Vulnerable Population

UGOOD Strategy to Eradicate Diseases:
UGOOD strategy is to create awareness regarding the reasons; prevention and cure of these diseases among high risk group and communities.
For this purpose various tools are being used such as:
- Counseling and community mobilization
- Workshop and training sessions
- Printed materials
- Media Campaigns
1.3- Campaigns to Eradicate Pollen Allergy and Water-Born Diseases
Water-Born diseases and Pollen Allergy cases have registered a sharp increase in all over the country especially in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi. UGOOD Survey indicated that the number of deaths due to water-born diseases and pollen allergy is increasing all over in Pakistan. Under UGOOD health programs various medical and awareness campaigns have been launched in our targeted areas. With the grant of Ministry of Environment - Government of Pakistan, UGOOD launched a comprehensive awareness campaigns for water-born diseases and educate local community about the prevention method.
Free Medical Camps:
Several free medical camps were organized at selected places in the rural/urban areas with a view to maximize the geographical outreach. Free medical camps were established in the following adjacent areas of twin cities:

1.4- UGOOD Mother and Child Health Centers (UGOOD-MCHC)
UGOOD objective underline emphasis on family health especially that of Mother and Child health in rural, remote and neglected areas which are thickly populated where maternal and child health facilities are lacking due to which infant and maternal mortality is comparatively high. The MCH project is design to cater primary health care services for the women and the children of the poor families of rural, remote and marginized neglected areas who can not affords costly treatment in private hospital at the time of child birth and seriously illness.
The main objective of this MCH project is to provide following low cost and highly quality services by professionally trained staff.
- Ante-natal care
- Delivery or child birth services
- Post natal and pre natal care
- Counseling campaigns
- Health and nutrition educational services
- Family planning services
- Social and medical research
- Nutrition and vaccination services
- To improves the health and nutrition status of anemic girls and women and malnourished children
UGOOD is negotiating with various donors to obtain funding for establishment and sustainability of this center in various parts of Pakistan and Kashmir. Moreover, community is also being mobilized in target areas.
