What is an NGO?

An NGO is normally considered to be a non-government organization which works for the welfare, benefit and/or development of society or certain section of society. It is usually constituted by the body of volunteers. Some NGO have paid employees who are usually responsible for its administrative functioning it is usually a non profitable organization, which means that its members are not entitled to any profit from the earning or income that it generates.

What role does UGOOD play as an NGO?

A non-profit and non-political organization, with the ambition to strive for the sustainable human developments by working in the areas of health, education, environment, natural resource management, micro-credit and enterprise development, poverty alleviation, human rights, women empowerment and rehabilitation of disabled, poor and destitute.

Does UGOOD operate in specific locations?

Yes, UGOOD is not limited in its operations. Wherever help is needed, UGOOD reaches there within no time, to help the needy.

What is UGOOD’s Main Aim?

UGOOD Main Aim is to improve Pakistan’s Social and Economic Development and Alleviate Poverty from our country.

Who can contribute?

Anyone who wishes to help our Nation can contribute in our efforts. It can be either by volunteering and providing services or by providing funds to the NGO as a Sponsor.

What are Volunteers and Sponsors?

A volunteer is someone who works for a community or for the benefit of environment primarily because they choose to do so, and not because they will receive a reward for it. The word comes from Latin, and can be translated as "will" (as in doing something out of ones own free will). To sponsor something is to support toUGOOD Project, Event, Activity, Person, or Organization financially or through the provision of products or services. A sponsor is the individual or group that provides the support, similar to a benefactor.

How to contribute as a sponsor for UGOOD projects?

From time to time our website is updated with activities that we conduct to support our People. Any person, who wishes to contribute for a particular activity, can contact us via e-mail, telephone or personally visit our office.

How to contribute as a Volunteer?

Similarly as for Sponsors, Volunteers may also contact us for any particular activity they wish to contribute for.

How to join UGOOD as Volunteer/Sponsor?

Sponsors and Volunteers may also register themselves on our website through the join us tab. This will enable them to stay in touch with all the current projects that UGOOD is working on, and they can render their services as required.
